Country Music has always been a favorite of the Oilfield. Over a forty year career starting as a roughneck, completing a degree in petroleum engineering, and building a successful independent oil company, I never heard a song that truly conveyed the work ethic, spirit, and pride of the oilfield worker. This song tells about a typical day in the life of a roughneck in an entertaining way. I hope you enjoy the song as much as I enjoyed creating it. I also wish to thank Kip Sonnier for his invaluable help in producing the finished version. He is an amazingly creative and talented individual.
