Gigi DeNisco is regarded as one of South Florida's best Rock Vocalist and live performers. Voted "BEST FEMALE ROCK VOCALIST" in The Miami New Times. Born and raised in Miami Florida, she has been entertaining audiences for many years and making a living doing nothing but music. Gigi was classically trained on piano while her main instrument is the accoustic guitar. She can fill a room with her accomplished voice and one guitar or she can rock an areana with her awesome band. The Gigi DeNisco Band has opened for many known artists such as Willie Nelson, Boz Scaggs, Stevie Nicks, Steely Dan, and Keith Urban to mention a few. The Gigi DeNisco Band was the performing act at the Toyota Dan Marino Celebrity Invitation, entertaining more than two thousand celebrities. Gigi also represented South Florida at the SxSW Music conference for The Florida Music Association. While opening for Michael Bolton at the popular Sunfest in Palm Beach, Florida, Gigi was the only Indie Artist who Headlined the Nightly News in 2006.
She is a Heartfelt Adult Alternative Artist with a Classic Rock feel and a Southern Edge to her song writing. She writes extremely well structured, melodic tunes, then teams up with her band for the final arrangements. Gigi has several Billboard Sonwriter Awards as well as many other articles and reviews of her works. She is a perfectionist who perseveres until she conquer's her goal. Nothing says it better than the new record she has currently released, "Too Close For Comfort". The Hit single, "Before We Start" charted at 11 and a second single "Pony Ride" galloped to a 5 alongside hit makers, John Mayer, Nickelback, and Five for Fighting. As an "Indie Artist" Gigi broke all the barriers on the FMQB A.C. Charts. These Two Tunes did so well with National Air Play, they both made it in the Top 100 for the year 2006 on the FMAB top 100 list, in fact she placed 43 with "Pony Ride"!
