I have to admit that I had this CD for a month before I realized what a jewel it was when I finally took the time to listen to it on a road trip in my car. I was mesmerized from the first track. I'll do my best to summarize the impact it had, and continues to have on me, by saying that it's as though I am hearing these prayers and messages for the first time, each time I listen. The music is hypnotic, and somehow creates a sort of comforting trance that creates a doorway to my heart for the messages to enter. A good example is the "Christian Prayer for Peace," which is based on the Beatitudes of the Bible. I've heard the prayer countless times in my life, but when I hear it on Pray CD, I truly HEAR the message - which is to simply live your life with conscious consideration and honor of others. That is the overall message of Pray Peace, to me. To honor all of life, in everyone, with peaceful and loving, and kind intent.

A work of genius

The first time I listened to Pray Peace, I was walking around doing stuff. When
I go to bed at night, I often fall to sleep with music. Last night
I decided to fall to sleep with Pray Peace. In the solitude of
my bedroom, the sound of your voice filled my soul and the whole of my being
melted into your creation. The familiar prayers became new. The
new prayers became friends. I fell to sleep happily bathed in what has
been my life's journey and work ... Peace.
I rarely set a wake-up alarm, but when I do, it is to wake to music. Last night, I forgot I had
set the alarm the night before. Thus, this morning, I awoke to your beautiful voice and Pray Peace. I decided to meditate to
it. So I did. Ahhhhhhhh!!!! At the end, I experienced a much-needed healing followed by a splash of tears of
gratitude. Your genius helped me to heal. The simplicity and sophistication of your creation has given me a new
resolve. In my humble opinion, Pray Peace is a work of genius.

Pray Peace accompanies me where ever I go. It is both uplifting and moving. Each piece is delivered beautifully and the background instrumentation and vocals are superb. I am inspired by Denise's personal story of recovery from throat and neck cancer, and this knowledge deepens the experience of listening to her voice -- a voice which she lost for a year. A beautiful mix of religious/spiritual traditions are represented here and one's faith/belief system matters not ... I give this one the max number of stars!
