Singer/Songwriter Dennis Bryan has completed a new and much anticipated CD! After playing virtually every nightclub in the L.A. area, he finally settled down to record a CD with most of his own material. Last seen in Beijing, China and on the Sydney Opera House stage singing Masquerade, Dennis has also been in the musical WORKING, a review of Harold Arlen songs called SWEET AND HOT, played Jesus in a concert version of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR and Dominique in the world premiere of an original Rock Opera entitled, KNIGHT OF THE DARK. Although his style is mostly Pop/R&B, he can sing and write all styles of music. Dennis was involved with Bard In The Yard, a Long Beach based Shakespeare Company and wrote an original song, WAKE NOT THE DEAD for their treatment of Bram Stoker's "DRACULA". In addition, he had the privilege of having a full orchestral arrangement created from his song YOU MAKE ME SHINE which is on this new CD.
Jam packed with a variety of songs of different styles, Dennis' CD runs the gamut of emotions from the sexy frankness of TAKE ME TO YOUR LOVE, the matter of fact WHEN ARE YOU COMING HOME?, the sweet lullaby SLEEP, the plaintive UNDERDOG, the simplicity of I'LL BE THERE (WHENEVER YOU CALL), the pain of IN-BETWEEN to the direct RIVER OF HEAVEN.
Recently Dennis was featured on the local cable network performing and talking about his music. He continues to perform in and around the Long Beach, California area at places like Birds of Paradise, Hot Java, La Traviata & Club 49. He is currently in the studio working on his follow up CD and will release a seasonal mini-disc with two Christmas tunes, one of which he wrote.
