notes
Dennis Doyle keeps himself amused :
1. Performing regularly in retirement and nursing homes in Oregon & Washington
2. Playing lead guitar with popular Vancouver WA band Steel & Velvet at Fraternal Order and Seniors dances
3. Composing and recording original music from his Redland, Oregon home studio.
SINGLE MALT is Dennis Doyle’s first all-original album in many years. Both brand-new and early Doyle songs are included this mostly acoustic album. Also contributing to the effort: Tim Burrows and Emily Higgins on vocals; Charlie Schroeder on bass and vocals; and Lowell Neil on bass, mandolin, harmonica and vocals.

Very well put together and just great listening!
author: Charlie Proctor on Dennis Doyle's Single MaltIt's not very often that I'm impressed and all who know me, know that's right! But I'm very impressed with the sharpness and orginality of this CD. I just can't say enough other than watch out for this guy! He's on the move to the top! WELL DONE!
This CD is like having a drink with an old friend...
author: Charlie 'Pinedog' WilliamsThere are LOTS of Indie CD's out there. What makes this one stand out is that it's REAL. The CD is full of songs about real people and places and written from a sensitive yet humorous perspective. Intellectual but down to Earth, this CD features very unique and creatively written tunes that are well recorded and produced. Dennis has a voice as smooth as..well...single malt scotch! His guitar work shows his mastery of the instrument. I love this Cd...but don't take my word for it..check out the clip of the title track or Take Me Back to Ketchikan...i think you'll see why you should add this CD to your collection. I'm really glad i did. It's an Indie gem!
