Dennis Driscoll is a singer/songwriter from the great Pacific Northwest from the late \'90s to the present time.
He is constantly trying to build upon what he has already done as not to become stagnant in his style.
His influences include Elliott Smith, The Kinks, Broadcast, Vashti Bunyan, Nico and Marianne Faithfull.
The album \'Good Format\' got it\'s title from an experience which Driscoll had when he attended a Cibo Matto concert in Seattle in the late \'90s or early \'00s. He saw Sean Lennon perform and wanted to give him (Sean) a copy of his cassette release \'Is It Love?\' that he had dubbed to MiniDisc.
When Driscoll handed Lennon the MiniDisc, Lennon told Driscoll \'Minidisc is a good format.\'
Whether Lennon ever actually got around to listening to the MiniDisc copy of \'Is It Love?\' remains a complete mystery, even to this very day.
