What do you get when you add a country flavored style of Boots Randolph, combine it with the bluesy/jazzy feel of Kenny G and David Sanborn and sprinkle in some Southern Gospel flavorings? You get the music of Dennis Gwizdala, the "Kenny G of Christian Music" !! Dennis has been playing professionally since the age of 14, turning to the Lord AND Christian music at the age of 30. Dennis travels extensively and ministers through music from Alaska to Florida and everywhere in between, performing approximately 150 concerts a year in various venues such as churches, amphi-theatres, fairs and Cruise Ships.
People may wonder what they should expect at a "Dennis Gwizdala" concert. As a Gospel singer/saxophonist, Dennis ensures a variety of music, songs sung vocally as well as songs played instrumentally from Dennis' alto, tenor or soprano saxophones. Dennis also prays that you will experience different emotions throughout the concert. You may laugh, you may rejoice and praise the Lord while listening and singing along to "toe-tapping" Gospel music, or you may cry as a slow ballad is being sung or played. But the one hope that Dennis has is that at the end of the concert, you will come to have a closer relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Dennis believes that Christians should enjoy themselves and have good clean fun (Proverbs 17:22-"A merry heart doeth good like a medicine") however, when all is said and done and the last note is sung, Dennis' prayer is that everyone walking out of his concert will be a little more encouraged and will want to have a closer walk with God. Though his concert may make you want to tap your feet and clap your hands, Dennis' desire is to see souls saved and that means that Dennis will ALWAYS bring the concert to a close with an invitation for lost souls to get saved and to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their Personal Savior !
