As an avid collector of Dylan covers, I was looking forward to hearing this CD. It is expertly produced, but the interpretations almost sound like outakes of actual Dylan recordings. That's not to say that Dylan outakes are not worth listening to, but I enjoy cover versions of Dylan's material as each new artist adds a new layer to the magic and poetry of Bob Dylan's works. Unfortunately, although this record is very listenable, it did not add anything new or exciting to the "sound scape" of the songs.

Some of these songs sound so much like Dylan and yet not like any true Dylan renditions that you've heard before - it makes you wonder if this was from some studio session Dylan himself recorded at an earlier time but later than the original release of these songs.  But no -- it's not Dylan -- It's Dennis Heller!!  Also the original song on the disc, THALIA, was also very good and gives listeners a taste of what Dennis sounds like when he's not imitating Dylan.  I think I'd like to hear him do Dylan's songs in this same true Dennis Heller fashion without the obvious Dylan impersonation.  I think that would be equally enjoyable if not more so.

Finally, someone has recorded Dylan like Dylan. Well, kinda like Dylan. I love the energy Dennis exudes on this CD. Ya did it Dennis!!! Great job.
