Album Notes

The musique of Dentdelion (ancient French name for dandelion), is composed of Claude Méthé (fiddle, voice; Le Rêve du Diable, Entourloupe, Ni Sarpe Ni Branche…), guitarist-singer-foot percussionist Dana Whittle (Jeter le Pont), flutist Denise Levac (Manigance), multi-instrumentalist Colin Savoie-Levac (her high-school-age son; banjo, mandoline and more) and fiddler-singer Béatrix Méthé (Claude’s teenage daughter), the group enthralls audiences with a repertoire of original tunes and delicious songs and arrangements featuring ancient lyrics superimposed on fresh-picked melodies. The addition of the second generation is a real treat, creating a « vinaigrette » whose principal ingredients are the highest quality energy, complicity and smiles – a rare and beautiful recipe!
