The Dents are a Boston punk rock band. Their full-length CD, Time for Biting, was produced by Boston legend Sir David Minehan (The Neighborhoods, Paul Westerberg). Upon its release, Time for Biting was nominated for a Boston Music Award for “Debut Album of the Year,” landed the band on the front page of the Boston Phoenix and made several local critics' Top Ten lists for that year.
“The Dents bring it on back to where it began; nary a song in their set is minus melody and hook and they're wonderfully relentless in that straight-ahead speed surf rhythm thing. I couldn't stop smiling-and these days, it's more like can't stop wincing. They're that good...”—Johnny Angel, Los Angeles Alternative Press
The Dents are:
Jen D’Angora – guitar/lead vocals
Michelle Paulhus - bass/lead vocals
Craig Adams - lead guitar
Kevin Pickering – drums
The dual lead singer/songwriter attack of Paulhus and D’Angora deliver a one-two punch with impenetrable harmonies and songs filled with an arsenal of hooks, snarls, volume and velocity—sure to satisfy even the purist fans of punk, garage, and straight up rock n’ roll.
After releasing Round One, a split CD/7” EP, with Boston’s The Street Dogs last year, the band toured regionally playing to punk and rock audiences alike. They recently returned from a string of successful west coast dates, including a live appearance on Dicky Barrett's "Mighty Mighty Morning Show" on Indie 103 in LA and the BYO Punk Rock Bowling Festival in Las Vegas. This summer The Dents will be working on a single featuring Mike McColgan (Street Dogs, Dropkick Murphys), a split single with Drag the River (featuring members of All) and their second record as well as continuing to tour—including regional dates on the Warped Tour.

Pure Rock from the heart without the fakeness you see everywhere nowadays!

Great rock music...fun, fast, melodic, and punchy. Great music to drive to, dance to, skate to, whatever. These guys and girls are serious but have a good sense of humor, and they're cool and down to earth, unlike most of the poser idiots in most of the bands around now.
A great mix of well written songs, with great lyrics, well-recorded and action-packed.
