Dereck Rose has the spirit of a true minstrel, and is numbered among those special breed of musicians who are able to capture and record their passions and feelings in any minimal capacity. He is a very skillful and seasoned guitarist/singer/songwriter with bundles of experiences girded about his loins like silk in a sultans palace. As a writer, there is no boundaries that he cannot cross, and his only aim is to capture the imagination and emotions of people which he does so brilliantly. Dereck is at his best and is most potent during live performances when he is in his element doing what he likes best and he always leaves the crowds totally mesmerised and in awe which is what good music is all about. There will be many more albums to follow, but this one is likened unto a tasty piece of morsel floating on top of the waters of musical genres waiting to be snapped up by every hungry listener in need of a good feed.
