Album Notes

Music is the most important thing in my life and I can't imagine myself doing anything else. I started listening to music when I was very young. Country was the first thing I liked, then it was classic rock, and now I basically listen to everything. Being a fan of all genres I try to add as many different styles into my music. I also like to add any instrument that I can play into my songs. In this album I added acoustic/electric guitar, piano, mandolin, and harmonica. Every song on this album was written by me over the course of the last five years, and I feel like each one shows a different side of the music that I play. I first started writing when I was thirteen and the first song I really felt that I wrote was Don't Runaway. Now that I'm seventeen I can tell that my songs have kept the same the same mood to them. I like writing about hardships and things that I have felt in my life. Some of these songs have been written over months and have been changed many times (Deep Blue Heart, On The Side Of The Road), others were written very quickly and have had little changes (Naked Beach, Fallin' Down, Somebody Else), and some I can't even remember writing (The World, For Once). Either way I hope you can connect to these songs and I hope you enjoy the album.
