The Derry Aires are Back! With new songs, new arrangements, and a few new faces. Built for Comfort is an eclectic mix of songs from Celtic to Americana, all delivered with emotional power. Superb performances abound, from Peggy Monaghan’s smoking’ rendition of the CD’s title track to Lili McGovern’s soulful and heartfelt take on “Orphan Girl.” On “At the Foot of Knocknarae” Vicky Reardon knocks one out of the park, while Liz Fullerton nails it with earthy magic in “Witch’s Reel.” And Kirsten Baird Gustafson gives another signature performance in “Jon of Dreams.”
