Album Notes

A MULTI GENRE SCIENCE FICTION MUSICAL ADVENTURE FROM THE FORMER DRUMMER AND COMPOSER OF ESTRADASPHERE, DAVE MURRAY

"A score abstracted to the limits of the human imagination and represented through many generations of musical tradition."
-Zach Jucha

"I can tell this album comes from the heart, and the bassdrum work is from HELL!!
-Morgan Agren (Mats/Morgan, Fredrik Thorndendal of Meshuggah, Frank Zappa)

"The Deserts Of Träun: Part III The Lilac Moon certainly is not just some pompous concept rock-album. The diverse instrumentation and arrangements and all-over musicianship makes this music surely tell a story. "
-Matijn Busnik ('musiquemachine')

Beautifull, imaginative and colourfull compositions

This sort of music really is my type of thing. Treating genre as a variable is a great way of expanding the possibilities of expression. It really is very exciting to hear more and more artists going in this very imaginative and colourfull direction. It's cool how all the rules are used here, and then all the rules are smashed.
