ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"May Peace Be Upon You, and Upon You Be Peace.
As-salaam Aleikum, Wa Aleikum As-salaam.
Shalom Aleichem, Aleichem ha Shalom.
Salaam, Nameste, Shalom, Bring Peace."

Christian, Jewish and Muslim children sang this chant with "all their hearts" at the Desert Wind Studios. Originally written by Alan Scott Bachman for an Interfaith Musical Tribute, and sung in a room with some 3,000 people, this chant has quickly spread throughout peace loving communities. First Nation drummers Jeff Reddoor and Adrian Lambrinos joined Alan Scott Bachman on Keyboards, Emmy award winning bassist Harold Carr and Native American flutist Andalin to memorialize this chant.

Featured here is the Brent Haines "E minor" Woodsounds Flute, made with selected Oregon Juniper and Myrtle Woods and with the Blue Heron Totem, symbol of Native American Spirituality.

Beautiful message of peace
I was so happy to discover this beautiful message of peace. The haunting melody of the flute combined with the sweet innocence of the children's voices chanting in 4 languages creates a powerful meditative blessing. Thanks Alan for your important work.
