Album Notes

It started out as free time hobby, yet the work with the album The Road Of No Return became a massive project by the two musicians Alexander Bulér and Håkan Müller expanding over several years. The struggle to achieve simple yet fascinating melodies has shaped this album to what it has become today, and their sound has also developed through the process.

It starts of with the track Livin' Life that sets the tone for the whole album with it's characteristic beat, a fusion between cowboy-rock and modern pop. Next of is Human Deal, a Beatles influenced moderate pop-ballad which leads on to the hit-single Waterfall, a progressive uptempo pop-track with a solid drumbeat and catchy refrain.

Mexico, takes us to the tequila sunrise where a wealthy boy from Hollywood is trying to find his destiny.

Following is Far Too Late; When you've reached the road of no return, there's sometimes no turning back. The 80's hard rock guitars makes the next track Honesty, an energy filled song, about greed and dishonesty in life.

Lucky Ones is about the beautiful life in the pacific, where a man can forget his troubles back home. A kind of obsession is the subject in Wannabe, an emotional ride with heartbreaking lyrics.

The song Open Sky is a simple radio hit about a high school boy, still afraid of being himself. Over to Longing, with progressive drums, mellow guitars and vocals that softly mends together.

Uncover All The Lies is a defiant uptempo synth-pop hit that shows another side to this versatile band. Next of is Find Rewind that takes us back to retro-town, and leaves only joy to the listener.
Her Choice is about her and her choices in a relationship with a musician.

The final journey goes all the way to the Destiny Road, where the album ends up in an euphoric mood.
