Recorded by Russian Roulette is our third full-length CD and is the follow-up to 2003's Outta Control and Bert Switzer 1977-2002. J.D. Jackons wrote all the songs for Russian Roulette in 2005, except Lullaby, which he wrote in 2003, and The Window, which he wrote in 1977. Jackson didn't present the song to The Destroyed at the time and forgot about it until he found it in a box in his home the summer of 2005. Two bonus tracks include Bombs, Part I, a drum solo taken from a CD single, and a rweworked version of Outta Control's Lullaby. Again, this is a self-released CD, in the honorable tradition of independent music.
Hope you enjoy this CD as much as we enjoyed making it for you.

Bring new blood to the punk revolution !
author: Laura T Lynch of Kweevak.com
The Destroyed originally started in the 70's during the height of the punk era and recently reformed to carry on the raw, energetic tradition of the genre. J.D. Jackson (guitarist, singer and songwriter) and Bert Switzer (drummer, mixer and producer) are a formable team. Russian Roulette is their third full-length release featuring ten classic punk rock tracks. The tunes are fast paced and intentionally dislocated. J.D. wails his serious lyrics over hard driving guitars and Bert's pounding rhythms. 'Dangerous Bomb', 'A Window' and 'Russian Roulette' were the powerhouses of the CD but all their songs capture the furious, frenzied emotions of punk. The CD has plenty of attitude in arrangements that are organic and primal. J.D and Bert may be music veterans but they bring new blood to the punk revolution!
