Album Notes

In early 1998, I began a metamorphosis that changed me from an overweight, middleaged housewife to the tattooed, body-pierced, swinging biker babe that I am today. The impetus behind that change was a mysterious man named Donnie Ray Blues. He blindsided me with a vision of who he thought I was...or maybe just who I really was all along and didn't know it. Our liason has been tumultuous to say the least. Some of it is chronicled here...the rest is yet to come.
My deepest, most soul felt gratitude goes to Scott Berry, who through his musical genius helped me tell a story not fit for mere words...only in song. My family, who are often confused and frustrated by my life choices, still loves me and invites me to Christmas dinner every year. The support from all my Orlando and Michigan friends (you know who you are) has been unwaivering. But, of course, the real master here is the Man himself...Donnie Ray Blues.

Too bad there aren't 8 stars. This one surely deserves it. If you like music that cools, soothes, wakes you up and shakes you, all at the same time, than this is the one for you. Take a listen, you WON'T regret it. It has soul and heart and a lot of art. This is one CD that won't disappoint you. I love it!!
