Grammy-nominated singer, Kate Hart created "Detroit Women" based on the successful group "Seattle Women." Seattle Women were pulled together for one show in Seattle and still going strong 18 years later. Kate has returned to Detroit and formed this all-star revue with the top women singers in the Metro-Detroit area.

Collectively the women in this group have been nominated and/or the recipients for over fifty-regional/international music awards and featured on over 300 recordings.

    not only did it rattle the cage it shook the whole foundations then blew the doors clean off brilliant fast paced good rockin blues with some really exceptional guitar work in a style to match the vocals perfectly

    If it gets any better than this, it's probably illegal in 34 states. This CD is what live blues should always be about: compelling singers telling you why life is great (even though parts of it may suck), a band that's subtle when you need it and a battering ram when you need that too, and a helluva great time all the way. I'm holding my breath for their next one.
