EIMUN - Healing

This powerful music was received during NHANDA DEVI's relationship with world famous didgeridoo guru GARY THOMAS.

It all started when AQUARIUS International Music set up some concerts in the U.S. where NHANDA DEVI and GARY THOMAS first met and entered the stage together.

They had a stunning impact with their live performances all over.

Back in Germany they gave more concerts and started working on an album, which they finished in Australia.

So this album is a real work of love, of devotion for the Divine and the healing power of music.

It was received on two continents with their different earth powers and vibrations which resonate in Nhanda's heavenly voice and Gary's earthy didge.

This is one rare piece of music: a true collaboration of yin and yang, a love affair of heaven and earth with tremendous healing powers.


N H A N D A D E V I
is a medial talented singer from Germany, which leads us with her voice in the world of female sounds.

As a Teenager she was engaged and fascinated with philosophy and spirituality.

At that early time she already knew that there is a force/power larger than herself.

After some time she dropped her successful carrier as a model and devoted herself fully to this power.

She didn’t take a usual education as a singer….” My voice is a natural voice…that what is special about my music is the frequency of a unique way of singing…”

Twenty four year old NHANDA DEVI had a deep experience that “It” was singing through her.

The artist sees herself as a channel for this voice and dedicates her singing to the Goddess Isis of the Egyptian mythology.

For NHANDA DEVI singing is an act of devotion and so her concerts are always completely out of the moment, with no program or prewritten songs.

“I go inside and allow that that what is there to be expressed…” she says.
Out of her experience NHANDA DEVI inducted a special way to work with her voice. In 1991 she initiated the project 'Mystery Voice'.

In her workshops she assists people to get in contact with the healing power of sounds and to find their own unique way of self-expression.

On her CDs “Chants From Isis” and “Bridge To Isis” she connects her voice with harp and various ethnic instruments and guides into a journey of sounds back to our source.

She is accompanied by other musicians who wave in the sounds of ethno percussion and didgeridoo.

Various comments about her concerts and her workshops are full of enthusiasm about her heavenly music and describe them as a timeless sacred musical treat.

NHANDA DEVI's unique voice arises from an inner sense of being.
Her singing reflects the power of surrender, transcending the ego's limited personality and linking us to our true nature.

This music creates a space of stillness and inner peace.

G A R Y T H O M A S - the Didge-Man
Gary is a sixth generation Australian who learnt from Aboriginal elders how to play the didgeridoo and how to read the rock paintings in the Northern Territory.

At Gary's solo concerts the audience quickly picks up on his enthusiasm. He does not only inspire by his music but also by his charisma and friendliness. Gary is without doubt an exceptional musician who is impressive as a soloist as well as a band member. He was invited to perform at the well recommended World Music Festivals in Falun (Sweden), at Sfinks (Belgium) and San Sebastian (Spain), to mention the biggest.

He is using the didgeridoo not only for music but also for healing processes. The strong vibrations have a harmonizing effect on spirit and mind of the person who is "blown at". Gary has successfully worked with deaf and blind children on Tahiti, in the USA, and all over Europe.

His didge can be heard on various albums, e.g. by STEVE ROACH and TIM WHEATER with whom he recorded a dialogue with the whales at the Australian coast - Whale Song. The earthy sound also appears on the albums Trance and Luna by GABRIELLE ROTH and the Mirrors.

Together with AL SCHACKMAN (guitarist of Nina Simon) and GORDY RYAN (drumming with MICKEY HART and BABA OLATUNJI) he has formed the group NATIVE GROUND and recorded the albums One Fine Mama and Where Wild Salmon Run.

In 1993 his second solo project appeared: Gaia's Dream - a declaration of love to the earth. Together with the "Sultan of Swing", HOSSAM RAMZY, a true percussion master, he produced a genuine "three continents-world album" - the listener is driven by great rhythms, taking turns with calm, intensive tracks. This album is rounded off by two long didgeridoo solos. His third solo CD Dali's Cave is released in 1998, staring HOSSAM RAMZY and TIM WHEATER.

He often performs together with ALAN DARGIN among other Australian Didge virtuosos. The two together really rock the crowds and bring the joy of their culture as well as the spirit to their audiences.
