Devora was saved and water baptized and thought that's all there was to Christianity, but she found herself powerless to overcome addictions, until she received the baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire. She was taught in the church that getting sprinkled with water as a baby was sufficient, but later learned that this water baptism must be a decision that a baby isn't capable of making, and the water baptism is a sign of covenant with God. After that, comes the baptism in the Holy Spirit in fire as mentioned in the Book of Acts, and this is where the power comes from to overcome sin.
