Album Notes

The one thing that is constant in life is change. And it is change that has inspired Jonathon Dewveall to come forward with his stirring arsenal of songs. After marrying the love of his life, Jonathon decided to begin playing gigs around his hometown of Houston, TX to earn some extra income; however, it didn’t take long for him to realize that playing music was truly where his heart was.
Drawing inspiration from various musical genres such as hard rock, folk, blues, and soul, Jonathon offers music that begs for emotionally driven heavy guitars, but floats through your mind as simple acoustic tones. In his writing, he strives to provide us with a reminder that life is a journey, and there are many things to learn along the way. Each and every song captures a moment from Jonathon’s life-long adventure, reminding us of where we’ve been, and inspiring us to move forward. At only 26 years of age, there is certainly much to look forward to as he learns more about life and music.
If you happen to catch Jonathon at one of his concerts, he will most certainly sing his heart out for you. And he hopes more than anything that you will join him in this musical life. After all, what’s a journey without friends to keep you company along the way.

"So Long Solitude" Rocks!
author: Cafe-Soleil.com
We listened to Jonathon Dewveall and his wife at a local pub one night. The performance was fantastic! We bought his CD, "So Long Solitude", and played it at our cafe. Since then, we've had so many customers ask about his CD. The music is wholesome, genuine, and true to the heart. You can feel his sincerity in his lyrics. I love that you can understand every word of every song. His voice is smooth and you can appreciate hints of his wife's soft voice in the background. The songs on this CD are very unique and simply just beautiful.
