Suzanne DeYoung has just completed her first novel, A Love Foretold. A native Chicagoan, Suzanne chose her hometown and its historical landmark Navy Pie as the backdrop for a tale of romance and intrigue, in the world of the paranormal. She indtroduces us to her characters Kady and Colin, two people drawn together by their psychic abilities
who find love as they work together to uncover a century old mystery.

For the past 33years Suzanne has been married to childhood sweetheart Dennis DeYoung. He is the former lead singer, composer and keyboardist for the multi-platinum rock group Styx. Acting as advisor, persponal manager and confidant, she has accompanied Dennis as Styx toured the world many times over. On her journeys she raised their two children CarrieAnn and Matthew from backstage, to hotel, to 'Sweet Home Chicago!' She has first had experience of the love and joy of traveling with her family, while enduring the trials and tribulations of making a home for them on the road. She has also been a contributing writer in various press materials for her husband throughout his creer. Dennis, who wrote such hits songs as 'Lad,' 'Babe,' and 'Best of Times,' for his wife Suzanne says, "Suzanne is the love of my life, and has been my greatest inspiration." Dennis was so proud of his wife's novel that he wrote and recorded a song entitled 'A Love Foretold'. This CD will be included in the packaging of this book.

With both children now grown, Suzanee manages Dennis as he tours the country performaing a retrospective of his career accompanied by a 50 peice orchestra with Suanne on backing vocals.
