Within the plethora of talent in Philadelphia's folk based and singer-songwriter community few can capture and share the imagination hidden within the world of fingerstyle guitar like David Falcone. Descriptions:" ... a heady stew of fingerpicking pyrotechnics," "Enticing original melodies," "hauntingly beautiful," and "a guitar virtuoso."

Falcone plays regularly in the Philadelphia, Eastern Pennsylvania and, New Jersey areas at various coffeehouses, bookstores, clubs and venues. He has also taken his music to Central Pennsylvania venues.

Falcone has shared billings with notables such as Leon Redbone at the Painted Bride in Philadelphia, PA, John Renbourn at the Lansdowne Folk Club, Erik Taylor at Plowshares in Phoenixville, PA., Julie Foster at the Minstrel Coffeehouse in Morristown, Nj and David La Motte at The Fire in Philadelphia, PA.. He has shared the stage with Antje Devukot, Akire Bubar, Colleen McFarland, Erik Balkey, Mia Johnson, Nancy Falkow, Michele Nagy, LisaBeth Weber, Steve Quelet, Ray Naylor and many other Philadelphia area performers.

Falcone's first CD, recorded at Longview Studios in Philadelphia, "Secrets of Sherwood" was released in 1997. His second CD, "Behind Your Eyes", engineered and mixed by Emmy Award winning Tim Craven at Gen-X studios, was released in 2001. Both CD's successfully mirror the intensity and passion that characterize the Falcone live performance.
When not writing, practicing or performing music, David is busy teaching in the Psychology Department at La Salle University.
