Super star folk ballad style artist
author: Entertainment News-country & Western Corner
Tan, Rested & Ready sets the pace for this new CD. "Rachael", "Bad Actress" and "Texas" are wonderful examples of what this super star folk/ballad style artist has to offer. I need to have David visit Texas, then I can show him what "Texas" is really about! Come stay awhile and experience what you wrote in your song. Looking forward to more releases...

happy go luck mix of pop songs
author: music morsels webzine
This CD by Pennsylvania singer/songwriter is a happy go lucky mix of pop songs combining elements of reggae, island music, folk and rock with witty lyrics. The snappy title track gets your grooving while "Texas" goes on a strange but fun sort of country slant. Along with the enjoyable lyrics are some interesting guitar and instrumental work that add a hearty dose of flavor to the songs.

I was sold from the first chords
author: donna wilson
I was caught up in the beat of the first chords of "Tan, Restd & Ready", then the funky island/reggae of Rachael. The different guitar parts of the songs was great and really filled out the sound. The outro message was a nice personal touch.

this songwrtier deserves to be heard
author: rambles, a cutural arts magazine
The opening track, also the title of this album, is an excellent introduction to this writer and performer. David Fiorenza's collection of self-penned material on this release is eclectic and shows some great talent. Fiorenza brings us just eight tracks on this album, but is enough for anyone to determine that he is a talent to be considered. (The listing gives 11 tracks but one is a sales pitch and the two others are 10-second pieces). I particularly enjoyed his songs "Thanks a Lot" and "Texas". As always, it is a matter of getting the breaks, the plays and the take up. I hope Fiorenza gets all of these because this songwriter deserves to be heard.
