I am so glad to have stumbled across this great band out of MILWAUKEE of all places. I picked up the CD at a live performance and it's been in my CD player ever since. The opening track "Elevate Your Mind" sets a very powerful "Foo Fighters meets the Beatles" tone and the second cut "My Plan" keeps that groove going. But the third song is the one that got me! I've played it for people and they call me back days later and say " I can't get that song out of my head! " or " what was that song with the 'blue roast beef' again? " Well ladies and gentlemen, that is "Done With The Blues", and that song alone is worth the price of admission here. But some of the real treats come later, including the vast, swirling space of "Soul In Love", the angry post-punk of "Spaceship Man" and the hard-edged almost delightfully demented "You Ain't Got Nothing On Me." This band is really going for a lot of different sounds here and it's such a refreshing listen. I'm ordering extra copies for some friends of mine. Thank you, DFlowers! When my uncle sent me Space For Rent I exspected some old guy pretending to sing. Little did I know that the DFlowers' Space For Rent was going to be anything but.
