An excellent introduction to David Gans' recent work

This is a fine demo of David's recent work, and a showcase for many of his styles and talents. David is one of those artists who lays open his thoughts and reveals himself. He could be making himself vulnerable - and would be if the songs he plays here weren't so strong and so, damn, right on! You get a little bit of everything on this album, apart from acoustic stuff. Enjoy it, it's fun. I love it.

Very Nice Effort

A fine effort & as he states in his notes, it is just something he is using to shop himself around with. Personally, I like it even more than his 1st CD because he uses loops etc. to such good effect. Where is his contract?

His style ropes the notes from a solo guitar into a happy constellation of deftly applied electronic effects without ever losing that authentic sound of a man living at the edge of his human fingertips, just playing.
