Album Notes

David Hykes' visionary music, Harmonic Chant, helps us find deep harmony and healing. It transforms our abilities to listen to ourselves, to each other and to the universe. Hykes explores the omnipresent harmonic series. These musical vibrations are found everywhere in the cosmos, from the continuous echo of the Big Bang to human voices and animal song, from the voices of crickets and elephants to the sounds of birds and whales. Hykes shares his universal music in concerts and recording, as well as in open retreats, workshops and seminars. He has collaborated with the Dalai Lama and Tibetan monks, and with medical professionals and neural scientists. Visit www.harmonicpresence.org "David Hykes brings us the music of the spheres." --Yehudi Menuhin "David's transporting music takes you somewhere completely otherworldly, to the ancient time." --Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche "David's spiritual harmonies, ecstatic and contemplative, are enlightening." --Lama Surya Das

David Hykes and the Harmonic Choir have mastered and moved beyond traditional Tuvan throat singing, and this collection clearly captures every nuance and overtone of their performances. A brilliant album.

I saw David Hykes and choir live at the enormouse Cathedral of St. John the Divine. they sat in a circle, lit by candles and mesmerized the audience. This is a good album, but I prefer them without additional accompaniment. Hearing Solar Winds is still my favorite.
