Dan Hubbard and the Humadors are an original rock’n roll band from Central Illinois. While they choose to classify their music as rock’n roll, their sound displays a variety of musical genres including folk, country, blues, soul, and even a little funk. Front man Dan Hubbards’ ever evolving songwriting is influenced by classic singer/songwriters and rock’n roll front men such as Tom Petty, Jackson Browne, Van Morrison, Neil Young, Ryan Adams, and Adam Duritz of the Counting Crows. Dan’s powerful yet dynamic voice has been compared to that of Jackson Browne, Lyle Lovett, and Elvis Presley. His message is a positive one that all can relate to.
“Everybody needs something to satisfy their soul. I just want to give a little love, I want to play a little rock’n roll.”
- Dan Hubbard, The One You Love

I really like this CD. The lyrics are great, and the music just is good for the ears and the soul! I related to these songs. I recommend this Cd, and if you like this CD you will definitely enjoy Dan's solo album, Life is Sweet. It is equally as good if not better! I own them both and can't get enough of either of them!

I highly recommend this CD.Alot of great songs here. Dan is a wonderful songwriter with a good ear for how a song should sound. Think of combining Petty,Jackson Browne and maybe alittle of early Little Feat(without their great percussion). This is the first recording with The Humadors and they maybe could benefit their sound with more extensive lead guitar and some tasteful slide guitar--but they are very adequate as they are. Not everyone has a Mike Campbell to back them up. I also highly recommend Dan's solo CD Life is Sweet and previous Hubbards--I'm Still Here. You won't be disappointed.
