Album Notes

Guitarist Dave Hill specializes in solo fingerstyle guitar from Jazz to Folk music. He is the winner of Denver's 2005 Swallow Hill Fingerpicking contest. His influences range from Joe Pass, Pat Metheny, and James Taylor....to Tommy Emmanuel, Alex DeGrassi, and Stephen Bennett. Dave's debut CD is a collection of very personal compositions reflecting his friends, family, and values. Many people comment on how relaxing and healing his music is to them. In addition two of the pieces (Both Sides Now and Most Beautiful Sky) are covers arranged by Dave in his soothing style. Lyrical melodies and rich chords are Dave's favorite musical choices.
