Album Notes

"Laugh Like a Bandit/Love Like a Thief" is the first LP from San Francisco indie pop-rock band Dialectic.

The album draws on the band's active musical imagination and expansive range of influences to create a unique sound. There are echoes of everything from Dylan and The Beatles, to The Clash and Talking Heads, to The Smiths and Pixies. But "Laugh Like a Bandit/Love Like a Thief" sounds like only one band: Dialectic.

At once deeply personal and instantly accessible, "Laugh Like a Bandit/Love Like a Thief" has something for everyone. From radio-friendly tracks like Homecoming to the desert campfire vibe of The Map, from the rich layers and harmonic sophistication of The Hunger to the nuanced simplicity of Heavy Honey, this record has it all.

Basically, if you like music, check out this record.
