Recent American Idol Semi Finalist 2012 singer Jennifer Hirsh is only 20 years old on this album. Claude Diallo and Jennifer Hirsh met each other at Berklee College of Music and soon they became very good friends and started to work together on a frequent base. They went to the studio to record some duo tracks. Later on Jennifer Hirsh decided to apply to the famous Montreux Jazz Vocal Competition in Montreux, Switzerland. She needed to submit 3 songs and recorded them with Claude Diallo on piano, Enrique Larabisch on drums and Blaque Marquez on bass. She got accepted to the competition with this recordings and started a tremendous career of her own.
Later producer Chris Summerfield from Streaminmedia Corporation had the idea to put all 6 songs on a CD and this album came out.
It features Jennifer Hirsh, showing a vide palette between colorful ballads, easy listening Jazz Waltzes and rough Blues. All arrangements were made by Claude Diallo, a young Swiss Jazz pianist that is known with his band Claude Diallo Situation.
Both of them lived in New York now and perform together or with their own groups. Enjoy this CD best with a glass of red wine on a rainy day.
