"Dialog> tugs at the heart strings with ease" IDJ magazine
Dialog> creates melodic cinematic soundscapes, where warm atmospheres meet deep electonic beats.
The debut album "Music for imaginary movies" fused the Dialog> cinematic sound to deep house and won acclaim from a diverse selection of DJs including Dave Mothersole, Antony Pappa,Pathaan, Ulrich Schnauss, Alucidnation, Nick Luscombe and the Plump DJs.
Dialog> has teamed up with the Lo-tek label to release the follow up: "Run Silent Run Deep". This represents an evolution from the deep house sound of its predecessor as a more diverse range of influences are explored. Dub, down-tempo beats, 90’s style techno, ambient and even a smattering of Paris Texas style blues guitar has found their way into the Dialog> melting pot to create a post club brooder of an album.
"Run Silent Run Deep" is inspired by the element of Water as a metaphor for the unconscious mind. Taoyoyo's artwork playfully draws on the Kraken mythology as a symbol of the undercurrents that lurk beneath the surface of our day to day existence.
With this theme in mind, the album has been sequenced to create the impression of being submerged and then released to the surface. After a brisk start, the album then gently guides the listener downwards to explore some down-tempo ambient spaces, before moving to an uplifting climax.
Echaskech (Just Music)- have provided a bonus remix, turning the rolling deep techno of “Gothic Monks” into an epic, prime-time, dance track with swirling synths.
