My name is Diamond Seward; I am 19 years of age and I am currently attending college, with my major being music education. At the age of six, I knew that music would be my number one love. Artists such as: Michael Jackson, Jodeci, Boys II Men, Stevie Wonder, Sam Cooke, Mary J. Blige (only to name a few) were like q-tips to my ears. They are now the greatest inspirations in my life. I began discovering the insights of writing stories, poetry and songs at the age of 12. Throughout the course of my years I participated in pageants, the school choir, Autumn Day Festivals, All-District Choirs, talent hunts and dance/step/tap squads. I am more than grateful to share with you (the listeners) songs that I’ve written and also three beats that I’ve created. I would like to take the time to thank whoever happens to read my autobiography.
