Album Notes

Meet Mother Goose and her puppet friends Jack and Jill. With the help of their giant puppet flying goose, the dish, and the spoon, they sing the rhymes of Mother Goose. These well known and loved songs are set to a variety of musical styles, including classical, opera, country, rock and roll, jazz, salsa, disco, and hip hop! The show's unique musical arrangements are by Micah Levy, winner of a Parent's Choice Award.

Diane Ligon performs this show in the DC and Baltimore, MD area in schools, libraries, festivals and theatres. In her second year of performing the show, Diane has been invited back to several venues already, including the National Theatre's "Saturday Morning at the National" in March 2009.

The School Library Journal wrote, in a 3/1/2009 review, "Libraries providing early literacy programming for babies and toddlers might find these songs a fun alternative to use for their own puppet shows or story times".
