"The Simple Life" is singer/pianist Dianne Gire's debut release. This CD is a great blend of old jazz standards, dynamic performances, and outstanding vocals. Sometimes swinging, sometimes sultry, but always tasty, Dianne leads a dynamic combo ranging from 3 to 6 pieces through original renditions of some of her favorite standards. Dianne is a veteran performer but has only now had the opportunity to share her music through a commercial CD release. Her ability to assemble a fantastic group of musicians and capture their talents live makes her songs feel fresh and real. "It's almost as if the band is sitting right in front of you!" Fans of Diana Krall and Norah Jones should find Dianne Gire a new and exciting voice in the world of the female pianist/singer.

Dianne Gire's debut album is a must-listen for jazz lovers. Her voice is fresh and full of life, whether up tempo or in a sultry ballad. Her piano playing is certainly up to the task, and swings! For the quality of the recording, excellent side musicians, and Dianne's immense talent, this recording rates very high.
