Album Notes

DiBo (aka Matt DiBattista) is an electronic musician from San Diego, California. His productions are a blend of traditional ambient acts like Eno and Tangerine Dream with the more structured and groove oriented sound of modern electronica. His first album, Fragments, follows suit with its pad and drum-driven approach to ambient. DiBo performs his music live, both independently and as a part of Happens in Dreams (name pending), along with Shani Ayanna (vocals), schugar (a/v mixing, production) and others tba.

DiBo also DJs in and around San Diego, holding residencies at Beauty Call at the Beauty Bar, Harney Sushi, Graffiti at Bar Basic, Form and Funktion at Johnny V, and Dr No's Fantasy. His DJ sets are generally a mishmash of downtempo, old school and underground hip hop, neo-soul, funk, disco, latin/jazz/exotica, broken and afro-beat, house and the occasional classic yacht rock tune.
