Album Notes

Dicky Greenwood (1960, Den-Haag / NL) has been around for almost 30 years. Since the eighties, he and his band backed up great blues musicians like Byther Smith, Melvin Taylor, Smokey Smothers, Wild Child Butler, Doctor Ross, Walter Wolfman Washington, John Primer and toured with them all over Europe. Dicky has also been a member of Mr.Boogie Woogie & the Firesweep Bluesband since 1996 and recorded 3 CDs with him.

"Feeling Blue" is Dicky's third album and it also features Harm van Sleen on bassguitar and Ron Flink on drums.

He may be Dutch, but what you hear is nothing less than a Southern soul singer- and one who can play expressive blues guitar!! Stewart Faxon, Desert Bluesbeat, Tucson/AZ.
