Album Notes

Avant-garde yet universal, Diego Jinkus fuses music styles in original arrangements that span the globe and bridge generations.
Diego Jinkus writes, arranges, produces and performs his Latin Pop- Rock sounds independently, bringing true artistry to every aspect of his music. No other musician in the Latin music market offers such an all-embracing art expression. Well on his way to becoming the next big influence on Latin music, Diego Jinkus recent performances includes the 4th Annual Latin GRAMMYS. Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Jinkus began his study of music at age four. After a period of self-exile dedicated to profound study, Jinkus traveled to Boston, Massachusetts in 1993 to attend the famed Berklee College of Music where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Not new to leading a band and well-versed and well-trained in composition, arrangement and production, Jinkus has been highlighted by Musico Pro Magazine and has been described as composing furious funk and literally being able to raise the temperature of a room during a set.
His style, versatility and expertise in the guitar has been a vehicle to get endorsements by two of the most revolutionaries guitar makers in the world: Godin Guitars and ESP guitars, as well as by Digitech, a leader in professional digital effects and Dean Markley strings . Each member of this sometimes eight-piece band contributes a meld of musical talents and artistic influences to the musical weave of Diego Jinkus.

OUTSTANDING! A real representation of "cosmopolitanness"
author: Claudio
By listening to Diego Jinkus' CD you can tell, from the very first track, the many styles, influences and whatnot in Jinkus' music. Great grooves, sticky melodies, world class players and amazing guitars. I don't understand why this artist is not quickly becoming "THE WORST KEPT SECRET" on the web. If you like pop, rock, jazz, funk and latin beats... buy this CD. You will NOT regret it.

After watching Diego play live I decided to buy the CD at the show. I simply love his guitar playing. The horn section was a killer and the energy off the roof! The CD is a representation of where music is going these days.
