Digital Beat sound is full of driving filtered rhythms, loops and acid synthlines. The original sound of Digital Beat is influenced by oldskool acid, techno, electronica and oldschool hip hop tracks. Digital Beat's first and most important influences are Prodigy and Jean Michel Jarre. The German electro group Kraftwerk is also a big innovator.

Music is aimed mainly to the dancefloor but it´s produced "living room friendly" aesthetic in mind. Digital Beat produces mostly breakbeat, hard trance, hard dance, electronica, drum and bass and intelligence techno (IDM). Second project is Finnlux Tuna that is a pseudonym for electronic breaks. Often the tracks are first intended for Digital Beat but added for Finnlux Tuna if the tracks are breaks or electro. Digital Beat is for darker sounding tracks.
