The Digital Knife itself exists in a dystopian universe in which the all-seeing eye of a fascist government seeks out troublesome individuals and attempts to lobotomize them with a weapon of unspeakable power. Digital Knife the band is a high-energy rock outfit from Portland, Oregon. Their songs range from the serious to the absurd, from the personal to the political/historical. Instrumentation consists of bass, drums, two guitars, and trumpet/vocals. Digital Knife is engaged in an educational mission to rock, inform and entertain their listeners.

We shall all hail this rawkus album - straight outta Slabtown. "Dad drives snakes"...Two-words= TRUM PET. Four more... GOOD TO YOUR EARHOLE. This entire album brings delightful vocal track work (and engaging lyrics) alongside decidedly tough drum work. If that ain't enough for the rockers with sore necks, Tracks 3-5 will surely put you in a brace.

Tracks with heavy trumpet are the best here. Tracks 2 and 5 are my picks for best tunes. This CD sounds very different from what is out there to be had now. I recommend it highly.
