Took a chance and bought this on the strength of just one track that I'd heard on cable. I can't begin to express how impressed and delighted I was! By the time I got to the end of the last track I felt like a kid at Christmas. I have a rather large library of this genre, but I can count on one hand the number of cds where every single track, on it's own, is worth the purchase. This gem has quickly become a daily touchstone for me, and is also a favorite of friends as background music during visits. Every time I listen to it, I notice something new that seems to resonate to my mood at that moment. I feel that everyone could use a little of this in their lives!

With such an influx of Eastern influenced chillout, especially in the psychedelic scene, it seemed that this would just be another album in a long list of similar artistry. Boy was I wrong ! This album has a fantastic balance of organic instruments paired with drifting synth ambience. The music is focused and richly textured. There was serious devotion and love that went into the writing of this album. Rather than compare them to others, I would just tell you that if you enjoy Eastern influenced ambient music, or top notch psychill....then you need to pick this one up for your collection. One of the best albums I have heard in several years !!
