Austin, Texas, a town known for cosmic country and roots rock, is also the home of a burgeoning reggae/dub scene. Mr. Brown is the newest edition to this blossoming scene, not only deeply rooted in classic 70's roots reggae and dub, but also focusing on modern dancehall styles. This blend of classic and modern styles with improvisations in dub has produced Mr. Brown's own "12 inch style," wherein focus is on creating tight, succinct songs with strong hooks and dubbing them to infinity. Mr. Brown's multi layered vocals highlights 6 singers, and the show is very dynamic, with 4 different lead vocalists fronting the band. Mr Brown features current and former members of Burning Spear, Cyril Neville, Patrice Pike, and DubKids, and have recorded with a number of artists including 311, Rocker T, and Buck 65.

Awesome record. Great grooves and positive vibrations. Listen to Movin' and Vicious Circle, Don't Stray Far and Wrong Side. Nice production too.
