"I could review this CD in four words: passionate, dynamic, creative, and brilliant, but I owe it to the Maximum Ink readers and the Dimes (sic) to expand on this review.
Dimes are probably the best band that you've never heard of, and I guarantee that you will be hearing a lot more about them in 2002. The songs are constructed with melody in mind and the guitars are clean and loud. What more do you need? Singer/guitarist Micah Eberman sings like U2's Bono is his father, not that he sounds like Bono, but the passion, diction, and talent is the same.
'Always a Bridesmaid' by Dimes is a stand-out piece of work. The crystal-clean production by the legendary producer, Wendy Schneider and her Coney Island Studio, is quite possibly the best work that she has ever done, and that's saying a lot. Keep your ears open, 2002 is the year of Dimes."
