Never heard of Alice until I was trawling through CD baby looking for a female vocalist to make me sit up and take notice. Take it from me,this girl does that in spades. Ordered 2 other Alice albums already. This album is a great way to get to know Alices music if you have never heard her before, her voice has so many textures to it and really shines due to there being only her guitar (and bass player on some tracks)

My first introduction to Alice was at a live show, which blew 
me away.  I was sure there was no way that the energy and 
passion she put in that live performance could be nailed 
down in a recording.  I was wrong.  If you're as un-lucky as 
I am to live on the other side of the country from Alice, this 
CD makes a great consolation prize.  I'm still amazed that 
such a powerful voice can come from such a small person!
