"The Path of Silvan" represents a beautiful mixture of modern jazz and Serbian traditional music that comes from Balkans. In addition to that, a strong flavor of European Jazz is felt throughout the album. The lineup is: Dimitrije Vasiljevic (Serbia) - piano; Juan Ignacio Saavedra Pizarro (Chile) - el. guitar; Ayal Tsubery (Israel) - upright bass; Alessio Romano (Italy) - drums. There is a symbolistic story behind the album concept. Silvans are said to be mythical creatures who led ancients Serbian knights from darkness to the light. The Path of Silvan, a path of peculiar light and paragon values, still exists somewhere, though overgrown with grass and woods, but many times trodden by the true Silvans of our time, so it can always be spotted by those who are ready to walk it, despite all the other, easily visible paths made of gold and silver.
