Feel good Ska music, with power pop horn lines and raw punk rock choruses. It's Ska-Pop perfection. Often compared to Less Than Jake, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones and New Found Glory.

Album Notes

19 tracks of gritty, heartfelt ska-pop perfection!

Basically it goes like this. Rhyan and Sean wanted to start a band so they tried out some people and it didn't work. So they grabbed Lee, Dave, and Nate, whose bands broke up a couple of months earlier and they started Dimples Malone in September of '97. Other noteable members include the mysterious Pongo and the smelly Don Sergio. Since then, they have had the misfortune to play with bands such as: MU330, Orangetree, The King Django Band, Johnny Socko, 7/10 Split, Nuclear Saturday, Flipside, Stepdown, Skavoovie and the Epitones, The Slackers, Bobby Brown, First Grade Crush, The Musicians of Make Believe, Tuesday, The Broadways, Pezz, Rush, The Solvents, The Dig-its, Johnny Five, C&C Music Factory, Table Nine, The Instigators, The Del-Rays, and who knows why but with some traditional bands like: Regatta 69, Yanni, and Skinnerbox. Dimples Malone's music has been on too many compilations to mention and has been played on college and commercial radio around the country. Besides playing shows they also went to school at Tennessee Tech University (NOT a community college) in Cookeville Tennessee. That's right, they are from Tennessee, but don't let that fool you in to thinking they are inbred redneck farmers because they will play their caffeinated ska and make you beg for Ritalin as the show goes on. Oh and by the way, they are five piece band with guitar, bass, drums, saxophone, and trombone, so grab your 40's and come check them out at your local 7-11 or in your local red-light district if you want to. While Dimples Malone is now defunct, their music can still reach out and grab you like your dead uncle used to. In case you were wondering what the hell happened to everybody, Sean is getting a PhD somewhere, Nathan works in a factory...as an engineer. Dave and Don are starting their own brewery (Calfkiller), Pongo is slinging pizzas and playing video games, Lee is waxin' his Porsche, and Rhyan is playin' in Chase The Radio and helping out at Double D. So thanks for buying our CD - now we can get drunk one more night. Enjoy the music and get in touch if you love it (we know you do).

xoxo
