Album Notes

DINER RELEASE THEIR DEBUT ALBUM ONLINE AND CHART ABOVE U2, BILLY IDOL AND BLONDIE.

DINER are a Buckinghamshire/North London based 3-piece band with a strong clutch of guitar driven songs with powerful melodies. They deliver a raw but epic garage guitar sound reminiscent of early REM with sweet vocal harmonies that bring to mind some of the finer bands of the 60's.
This is mixed with a modern, alternative, lo-fi guitar pop sound similar to classy guitar bands such as Idlewild, Sugar, Pixies, The Icicle Works and The Smiths.
Their fantastic, moody and melodic debut album "Eight Pound Guitar" is out on the 23 May 2005 via Matchbox Recordings, Tower Records, CD Baby and various digital outlets.
DINER recently charted at no 2 on the official sideload charts through Live365 the world's largest Internet Radio network higher than bands like U2 and Blondie.
DINER are also currently getting good airplay on many worldwide Internet Radio stations from Post FM, Matchbox Radio 24, Thrillkicker, Universal Music Radio, ROK Radio, New Wave Radio to Mash Radio and Radio Freakout in New York.
