Our music is an acoustic journey filled with dark melodies, cryptic passages, and hidden glimpses of hope. Each song on debut album Lighthouse deals with different life concepts such as love, deceit, loneliness, depression, unrealized dreams, hypocrisy, alcoholism, and the effects of silence. The underlying message indicates ever present hope during dark times and the ability of individuals to "change their stars."
Maybe you’ll find yourself humming our melodies in your car when you least expect it. Maybe you’re having a bad day and the lyrics from one of our songs pops in your head and uplifts you. We want you to realize your inner strength. With this inner strength the world can be changed one person at a time. Hope can spread instead of despair. This is our intention. You have the ability to change your surroundings for the better and in turn make your world a more positive place. After all, life is too short to not enjoy it.
On Lighthouse: we want you to draw from your own experiences to interpret meaning from our lyrics and artwork. The Lighthouse symbolizes many things to me, like direction, hope, safety, light in the dark times... Maybe it means something different to you. We will provide the lyrics to our songs, but we want you to explore your thoughts and find your own meaning.
Why acoustic? We love the sound of an acoustic guitar! It’s much like therapy. Something is very natural about it. The smell of the wood, vibration of the strings. It’s beautiful. It’s honest.
