Album Notes

Dirt Mall is a rock & roll band. If we had to elaborate, we’d mention something about the hyper garage punk of The Hellacopters or the drive of AC/DC. If pressed further, a love for the heavy riffs of Black Sabbath and the reckless abandon of The Replacements would surely come up. However, if we mentioned all of those bands, we’d be setting expectations way too high.

Dirt Mall calls Boston home. Johnny Anguish plays guitar and sings. Jason Murray handles lead guitar and guiro duty. The rhythm section is made up of Jamie Griffith on bass and Derek Madeiros on drums.

"Got The Goat By The Horns" is Dirt Mall’s debut album. It was recorded by Mike Quinn at The Moontower in Cambridge, MA. There are eight songs on the record. One of them is nine minutes long, though, so please don’t feel cheated.

We hope you enjoy the record.
